Amy Coelho is an adjunct instructor of flute whose private studio includes undergraduate music majors and non-majors. She also assists with the facilitation of the TWU Flute Choir, which has been a featured performing ensemble at the National Flute Association Conference on three occasions, most recently in August 2013, and the TWU flute studio class.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities at TWU, Mrs. Coelho provides private flute instruction to students in area schools, and she frequently serves as an adjudicator in local flute and band contests. She has performed in a variety of venues including the Texas State Capitol building and The Meyerson Symphony Center.
Mrs. Coelho received a Bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in flute performance and an M.A. in Flute Pedagogy from Texas Woman's University. She is an active member of the Texas Flute Society, the National Flute Association, Pi Kappa Lamda, the Texas Music Educators Association, and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
