The McNair Program collaborates with other University offices to provide the following resources:

  • Professional development workshops and retreats
  • Tutoring (free to McNair Students)
  • GRE classes
  • Research stipends
  • Fee waivers to selected graduate schools
  • Career counseling
  • Reimbursement for mileage to and from campus during the summer internship experience
  • Partial payment for room and board during the summer semesters
  • Budget for research supplies
  • TWU scholarships for McNair undergraduates who are accepted to a TWU graduate school program
  • Assistance in preparing reports and presentations
  • Social and cultural event
