Registering for Your Class

Setting Up Your Portal Account

To register you must first be admitted to the university. See the Admissions page for information on how to do that. Once you have been admitted to the University you must set up a portal account in Pioneer Portal in order to register for your class. To do this go to the TWU homepage at http://www.twu.edu/.

• Click on Pioneer Portal.
• Enter your Username and Password and click Login. If you do not have a user name and password, click on Create Portal Account and follow the instructions for becoming a new user.
• There will be a delay in accessing your portal with your user name and password after you set it up. If it doesn't work, wait for an hour and try again.
• Read carefully the information contained in the box titled "Important Payment Information."

There is a great deal of information and resources on your portal account. Become familiar with it as it can be a tremendous help to you.

Registration

You register for classes through WebAdvisor which can be accessed through your Pioneer Portal Start Page. To do this:

• Open your portal using your username and password.
• On My Start Page click on WEBADVISOR.
• Type in the same username and password you use for your portal and click SUBMIT.
• Click on Student on the right.
• Click on "Express Registration."
• Type in the Course Code of the course you need. For Spring, 2009, you will enroll in the following course:

• Click SUBMIT.
• Your class will show up.
• Click on the drop down menu on the left and select Register.
• There are two disclaimer forms that will pop up, first one and then the second.
• Read and, if you agree, click on the appropriate button. (Failure to agree will not hold your class schedule and keep you registered.)

You should now be registered. To check your schedule to make sure that class is on it, go back to WebAdvisor and click on "My Class Schedule."
