An orientation for all MAT students beginning their program in the Summer or Fall of 2009 will be held on the Denton campus and all new students are strongly encouraged to attend. Information will be provided regarding program requirements, deadlines, policies and procedures. In addtion, strategies and tips for insuring that your MAT program goes smoothly and successfully will also be shared and discussed. Such items as the student/internship, certification testing and developing and completing the professional portfolio will be examined in depth. There are two dates scheduled for the orientation. MAT students should attend the one they find the most convenient. The first will be on Saturday, August 29 from 9:00 a.m. until noon. The second will be on Tuesday, September 2, from 6:00 until 9:00 in the evening.
