How To Pay Your Bill

NO BILLS WILL BE MAILED.

  1. Payment by credit card or web check may be made on the Internet via the Portal at http://www.twu.edu/ > Pioneer Portal >WebAdvisor>Pay Online.
  2. TWU accepts American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover.
  3. Pay in person at the T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences-Dallas Center  located at 5500 Southwestern Medical Ave., Dallas, TX. The Dallas Center cashier’s office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.   (Phone:  214-689-6736 or 214-689-6500)
  4. Payment must be received by 6 p.m., Tuesday, January 11 or you will be dropped from the class.

Emergency Loans

Short-term emergency loans are available to cover the cost of tuition and fees only. You may apply for an emergency loan on the Financial Aid website. Be sure to select “Dallas ISD Alt Cert” from the drop-down menu labeled Campus/Center You Will Attend. Click here for more information: Emergency Loan.

If you apply for a loan, you must sign a promissory note and show a photo ID before the loan can be posted to your account. The loan must be posted to your account by the payment deadline of July 6th. You may sign the promissory note at the Dallas Center, 5500 Southwestern Medical Ave.. The Financial Aid office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

                           Emergency Loan Repayment is due March 1, 2011.     

Installment Payments (This option is not available for Summer classes)

For the Fall and Spring semesters ONLY payments may be made according to the Installment/Payment Plan terms. Students who desire to pay their tuition and fees by installment must enter into a written agreement reflecting the terms and conditions of the plan. Enrollment in the plan is the responsibility of the student and requires the electronic signature, indicating acceptance of the payment plan agreement. The Payment Plan Agreement is signed electronically with the use of the last four digits of your student ID through Pay Online. There is a mandatory $15 installment contract fee (subject to change) that will be added to your account. A $15 late payment fee (subject to change) will be added for payments that are not received by the scheduled due dates. There is no grace period.

Payment Plan Terms

  • No prior semester outstanding balances.
  • Payment of 25% of current semester balance due.
  • Payment of Installment Contract Fee of $15.00 (subject to change).
  • Prompt payment of 25% of the remaining balance on the three future installment dates.
  • Interest free.
  • Late Fee of $15.00 (subject to change) will be added for delinquent payments.

Tuition Fees

DallasAlternative Certification Interns:   

The approximate cost of the class (tuition and fees) will be $870.00 resident and $1800.00 non-resident for the Spring semester.

Note: For those classified as non-resident, a TWU scholarship will be applied to allow all DACP interns to take their course at the above Texas resident rate.
