There are currently no classes being offered through the TWU/DACP Partnership during the Summer of 2011. Please watch this page for announcements regarding classes for future semesters.

The TWU/DACP Partnership is a program in which Texas Woman's University (TWU) collaborates with the Dallas Independent School District (DISD) to provide graduate level classes to interns in the DISD Alternative Certification Program (DACP) and to students enrolled in the Dallas School Librarian Certification Program.

Each semester staff from the Dallas Alternative Certification Program informs TWU of the classes they will need for their interns and when they will need them. These are teaching methods classes for the various categories of interns in the DACP, (i.e. math, science, bilingual, reading, etc.). Texas Woman's University sets up the classes, hires and pays the class instructors, and awards graduate credit to those interns who successfully complete their class. The days and times of the classes are mutually determined by the DACP and TWU. Classes for students enrolled in the Dallas School Librarian Certification program are determined in a similar manner.

If you are currently an intern in the Dallas Alternative Certification Program and will be taking a TWU course in the Spring of 2011 click below for information on how to enroll in the university and register and pay for your course.
