Circulation Student Assistant

(Denton Campus)

Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $8.25/hour
Schedule: Flexible, Up-to 20hrs/week;

M-TH: 7:30am-2am, F: 7:30am-10pm, SAT: 9am-8pm, SUN: 12pm-2am

Skills:

  • Duties include (but are not limited to):
  • Checking in and out library materials for patrons
  • Extensive use of computers, printers, copiers, and multi-line telephones
  • Shelving library materials
  • Answering questions and solving problems for patrons needing help
  • Engaging in special projects as determined by supervisors

To qualify you must:

  • Be enrolled as a student in good standing at Texas Woman's University
  • Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal effectively with the public
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be comfortable with Windows OS and open to learning new technical skills
  • Be able to follow directions with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time, as well as stoop, bend, lift, and reach to retrieve items and complete tasks
  • Some previous library experience is preferred, but not required

Interlibrary Loan Student Assistant

(Denton Campus)

Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $8.25/hour
Schedule: Flexible, Up-to 20hrs/week;

M-F: 8am-12pm

Skills:

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Scanning items for Document Delivery and Interlibrary Loan
  • Pulling and shelving library materials
  • Processing and delivering mail for the Access Services department
  • Engaging in special projects as determined by the Interlibrary Loan Coordinator
  • Assisting the Circulation department with stacks maintenance as assigned

To qualify you must:

  • Be enrolled as a student in good standing at Texas Woman's University
