For many searches, Google http://www.google.com is a good place to start. It has one of the largest databases of Web pages, including many other types of Web documents. However, Google alone is not sufficient. Less than half of the searchable web is fully indexed in Google. Studies show that about half of the pages in any search engine database exist only in that database. For fully comprehensive web search you will want to use a number of Internet search tools.
