Michelle Reeves received her Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences at Texas Tech University and her M.S. in Communication Studies at the University of North Texas. She worked at TWU Wellness Services for several years as a wellness program coordinator, supervisor and instructor. While in graduate school, she was a teaching assistant for the Department of Communication Studies and won the Outstanding Graduate Student Award. Currently, she works for the City of Denton as a recreation programmer for the Denton Senior Center, a recreation center designed to promote active lifestyles for individuals 50+ years of age.

She was born in Des Moines, IA - although her husband, a native Texan, tells her that, thankfully, marrying a Texan is the next best thing to being born in Texas. Michelle is not afraid of a challenge, including home remodeling, child rearing (she has a daughter and a son), and whipping law enforcement officials into shape.
