Paul Dishman, B.F.A., M.B.A., Ph.D., FAMS, is an Associate Professor of Competitive Intelligence and Marketing in the Business Management Department at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Dishman holds degrees from Trinity University and graduate degrees in Business from the University of North Texas. He has taught in the LEMIT program since 1989. His areas of expertise include intelligence collection and analysis especially with regard to intelligence on individuals.

He is an associate member of the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEA) and a member of the Association for Psychological Type (APT). He has also been named a Fellow of the Academy of Marketing Science, and served for two terms as the President of the International Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) based in Alexandria, Virginia. Dishman lectures on Intelligence to agencies, companies, organizations, and at conferences. During the past few years he has spoken and provided workshops to the Central Intelligence Agency, Microsoft, 3M, IBM, Immunex, American Airlines, Fujitsu, and has been a keynote speaker at various in conferences and universities throughout the world including a United Nations invitation to China.
