Jean Mankoff

Director, Instructional Technology Delivery Systems

Jean received a B.S. from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Double Major in Education and Physics.  She earned a M.S. in Kinesiology and Computer Science from TWU.  Her teaching experience covers K-12, corporate training as well as adjunct faculty in the Department of Computer Science.  As Director of Instructional Technology Delivery Systems, her team supports professional development, Blackboard, voicemail, videoconferencing, Pioneer TV and video production.

 

Gordon Sallee

Manager of Video Delivery Systems & Support

Gordon is the Manager of videoconferencing, videoconference network, video-on-demand, TWU PEG channel. 

 

 

Catherine Dutton

 Manager of Instructional Technology Software Applications

Catherine has served as the Second Life project manager during most of her time with ISS. Catherine earned a BA in Family & Consumer Sciences from Utah State University and her MAT from Texas Woman’s University. She holds a secondary teaching certificate in family & consumer sciences and in technology applications. She has six years of high school and higher education teaching experience. Catherine is a doctoral candidate in the Family Sciences program at TWU and is currently researching educator’s uses of virtual worlds for her dissertation.

Ivan Lee

Senior Instructional Producer

Ivan came from Hong Kong to study in the Radio Television & Film Department at UNT in 1992 after a long career of TV camera, lighting and audio operations in Radio TV Hong Kong from 1979 to 1992.   He received a MA from UNT in 1997 and started working for TWU in 1998.   Ivan also teaches a basic TV/video production class at UNT’s RTVF department as an adjunct faculty.

Jason Brison

Senior Instructional Coordinator

Jason has been with TWU Instructional Support Services since 2002, where he started at the I.T. Help Desk.   In 2005 he received the Staff Outstanding Achievement Award.  Jason implements and supports Phoenix/Oracle, AllClear Diagramming Software and the automated call Distribution (ACD) system.  

Vicky Johnson

Instructional Operations Coordinator and TWU’s Blackboard System Administrator

Vicky is a Certified Blackboard System Administrator as well as A+ certified. Vicky started at the I.T. Help Desk in 2003.  Vicky has an Associate’s Degree in Business, and earned her BBA from TWU. She is currently pursuing a MS in Educational Technology from Boise State University.

 

Corin Walker

Instructional Coordinator and Voicemail System Administrator

Corin provides training and support for Blackboard, Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word, and AllClear Diagramming Software. Corin serves as the Public Relations Liaison for ISS and works with groups for project analysis and outcomes.  She earned a BS and a MS in Family Studies here at Texas Woman’s University.

Barbara Ritter

Instructional Coordinator

Barbara Ritter is a certified Blackboard instructor and developer of the Blackboard online course for faculty. Barbara earned a BA and an MA in English from University of North Carolina Charlotte. She holds a secondary teaching certificate in English. Barbara has over 14 years of teaching experience in higher education and has been teaching online since 1998. She is pursuing an EDD in Education with an emphasis on Instructional Technology in Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University.

Matilda Roach

Instructional Coordinator

Matilda is a Certified Blackboard Instructor and will be working on our Second Life project. Matilda came to us from UNT where she worked as a project coordinator and web programmer for a number of years. She earned a BS in English-Technical Writing from UNT, and is currently working on an MS in Instructional Technology at UNT. 

Brian Elmore

Computer Graphics Specialist

Brian Elmore has served as a world builder and texture artist for TWU's Second Life project since its inception in mid-2007. He earned a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of North Texas, and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in International Game Production Studies from Gotland University, Sweden. Specialties include 3ds Max, Photoshop, Unreal engine, Second Life.

Monica Fannon

Instructional Operation Systems Administrator

Monica develops, implements, integrates, and supports technology solutions for Instructional Support Services.  Some of these technologies include university mailing lists, automated call distribution (ACD) with Voice over IP (VoIP) technology, emergency outcall, and server systems for teams within the ISS department.  Monica also serves as project lead for ACD, VoIP, and Emergency Outcall. Monica received a BBA with emphasis in Computer Information Systems, Management, and Marketing from West Texas A&M University in 2005. She also earned an MBA in Business from West Texas A&M University in 2008.  Monica has been with Texas Woman’s University since 2006.
