In addition to the traditional teaching
classrooms, computer classrooms are available on all campuses to
facilitate teaching and learning in a hands-on computer lab
environment. These computer classrooms may be scheduled on a
regular or occasional basis. Typically, the rooms have computers
at each student desk with software to support the particular
learning activity.
An array of technology is available to
support teaching and presentation activities in our general
classrooms. The instructor podium may be equipped with a
computer, a laptop outlet, a document camera, dvd/vcr players,
audio and video controls, and data projection. In some rooms
portable systems are available to allow the use of technology in a
more flexible manner. Academic departments may also have
technology resources that are specific to a particular discipline
and support unique learning experiences.
