Students who are awarded a TWU Competitive Scholarship of at least $1,000 will be awarded in-state tuition.

Deadline to apply for TWU International Scholarships  is March 1. 

Complete the International Scholarship Application and return to the Office of International Education before March 1.

The Mary Bryan & Tom C. Reitch Scholarship: is a need-based scholarship also with a deadline of March 1.  Complete the Reitch Scholarship Application  and return to the Office of International Education before March 1.

Review of Special Financial Circumstances Application: OIE recognizes that many international students experience changes in income, or have family situations that may arise after the student begins his/her studies. Through professional judgment, and with the aid of Office of Student Life and Office of Financial Aid, the Office of International Education MAY recommend additional financial aid based on documented special circumstances. To be eligible for this aid, the student needs to have previously completed a TWU scholarship application and submitted it by March 1.  Please contact the International Education office for additional information.  Complete the Review of Special Financial Circumstances Application and return to the Office of International Education.

Good Neighbor Scholarship: ( link to form will only be available in January)  - This state of Texas scholarship provides a complete waiver of tuition to eligible international students from countries in the Caribbean and North, Central, and South America.  Scholarship recipients must still pay all applicable university fees.  Applicants compete with other international students from their home countries throughout the state of Texas for a limited number of awards that are given to a certain number of students from each country.  Awards are based on academic merit. Competition is intense and final award decisions are made by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, not TWU.
