The Mobile GO Center (MGC) provides college-going resources to primarily high school individuals and their families, and ultimately increases the number of students enrolled and succeeding in higher education programs in Texas. The Mobile GO Center project is an extension of the College for Texans Campaign’s broad efforts to achieve the participation and success goals of Closing the Gaps by 2015.

Mobile GO Center Services

Mobile GO UpgradeThe TWU Mobile GO Center provides a way to bring college going materials and person to person support to target regions of the state of Texas.

The Mobile GO Center is equipped with computers, high-speed satellite internet access, and a variety of printed resources and publications to provide individuals and their families in the Dallas/Ft Worth area with information pertaining to college access and success.

Resources may include:

  • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), including assistance with applying for PINs by students and parents
  • The Apply Texas common application
  • Scholarship searches and applications
  • College checklists
  • College guides and catalogs

Scheduling the Mobile GO Center

Inside of Mobile GOEvents for the TWU Mobile GO Center should be scheduled with a three week lead time.  This will help in securing a day and time for the usage of the mobile unit.
