SUCCESS Mentoring Program is a mentoring program designed to assist first-generation first year college students in making a successful and enjoyable transition to college by creating an educationally and supportive network in order for them to be successful in their first year at Texas Woman’s University. Multicultural Student Network (MSN) is a student organization sponsored by the Office of Intercultural Services designed to heighten diversity/cultural awareness and sensitivity within the community. Members will become student diversity educators and will provide diversity education/training to the community. MSN plans and implements cultural celebrations, activities and events for educational purposes.
TWU Go Center / G-Force Program - The TWU Go Center/ G-Force Program is a comprehensive effort to improve a high school students' ability to access information and strengthen commitment of pursuing higher education.
Cultural Connections Leadership Conference - The Cultural Connections Leadership Conference brings together students, faculty, and staff from various cultural backgrounds in order to empower them to become advocates for change in an increasingly diverse global society. CCLC provides engaging and intentional activities that serve as a catalyst for personal and professional growth, resulting in producing strong individuals and productive members of society.
Diversity and Leadership Education - We are available to make a presentation to your student organization, classroom, or community organization about the importance of building personal and professional competence in a multicultural society. To make a request, please complete the Presentation Request Form.
Diversity Leadership Conferences - We keep information on the upcoming state and national leadership and diversity related conferences. Come by and see/check the "Annoucements" board for diversity leadership conference opportunities.
Minority Scholarship/Internship Information - Through this department comes many offers of scholarships, internships, and fellowships. Please feel free to come by to view and pick up any materials of interest.
Multicultural Resource Library - Located in Jones Hall, Room 200, the library houses over 300 books that focus on multicultural topics and issues! Students are free to stop by and use any of the materials as a resource. The library is great for research or for pure enjoyment!
