Participation in sports and recreational activities can be an excellent part of maintaining a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle for persons of all abilities and inclinations. Although there is much progress to be made, ongoing movements in making all aspects of balanced living, including sports and recreation available to all persons, have resulted in a growing array of options and viable opportunities for maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle.
