New Employee
Orientation for Faculty
New
Faculty Orientation (NFO) is scheduled each January and
August for new fall and spring faculty. Faculty hired
after NFO should contact Human Resources at x81-3555 or
x81-3558 to make appropriate arrangements.
All new and returning faculty MUST
attend an orientation within (30) days of employment.
All new faculty must complete payroll paperwork on the first
day of employment.
New Employee Orientation For
Temporary Staff
New
temporary employees (employees with an appointment of 4 1/2
months or less) should complete the
Online Temporary Employee
Orientation on or before their first day of employment.
All new temporary employees must complete payroll paperwork
on the first day of employment.
New Employee Orientation For
Regular Staff
(Denton and Dallas Campuses) New employees do not need to register for NEO. The employee will be scheduled for and notified of NEO by Human Resources during the job offer. Any new employee who cannot attend her/his scheduled NEO session
must contact HR (x
81-3558) immediately to reschedule. All new and returning employees MUST attend a NEO session within thirty (30) days of employment. All new employees must complete payroll paperwork on the first day of employment.
Departments should send new employees to the Office of Human Resources to complete payroll forms. All offers of employment extended by TWU will be contingent upon the applicant’s ability to supply the Office of Human Resources with documents which provide proof of identity and eligibility for employment in the United States.
New Employee Orientation For
Regular Staff
(Houston Campus)
New employees must complete the
New
Houston Employee Online Orientation on or before their first day
of employment. Employees should also meet with Desiree
Hodge in order to complete payroll paperwork on the first day of
employment. All offers of employment extended by TWU will be contingent upon the applicant’s ability to supply the Office of Human Resources with documents which provide proof of identity and eligibility for employment in the United States.
NEW EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION (NEO) SCHEDULE
(Denton and Dallas Employees):
All NEO sessions are held in the Office of Human Resources at 1219 Oakland. Tuesday sessions begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. and end approximately at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday sessions begin at 8:00 a.m. and end approximately at 11:00 a.m.
Employees may not leave orientation early without prior
approval from Human Resources except in the case of an
emergency.

if a new employee will need translation for NEO, please contact
Human Resources at 8-1-3558 or 8-1-3523.
