IMMIGRATION REFORM AND CONTROL ACT
EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 requires all
employers to verify the legal status of all employees hired
after November 6, 1986. All offers of employment extended by the
Texas Woman's University will be contingent upon the applicant's ability
to supply the Human Resources Office with documents which provide proof
of identity and eligibility for employment in the United States.
As evidence of identity, the government requires applicants to submit
originals of one document from "List A" or one document for "List B" and
on document from "List C".
