EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS

STAFF EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS

Supervisors are required to conduct a performance appraisal for all non-faculty employees:

  • within the first six months of employment;

  • within six months after a promotion;

  • once each year;

  •  three months after an employee receives and Below Standard, or Unsatisfactory Overall evaluation.

Administrative Officers please note that by signing the "Administrative Officer" area of the performance evaluation, you are confirming that you have reviewed the performance evaluation for compliance with all TWU policies and procedures, state and federal regulations.

To assist in the fulfillment of this responsibility, TWU Operating Policy 50.01 "Staff Employee Performance Management" includes a Supervisor's Guide to Performance Management.  In addition, a training video on performance appraisal is available from the Department of Human Resources and may be checked out.   Annette Johnson, Manager of Employee Advocacy and Performance Management, will be available to assist supervisors.
