Instructions:
The front of the PVF should be completed an submitted to the OHR, with appropriate signatures, once a position becomes vacant.
The back of the PVF (Section C) should be completed and submitted to the Supervisor of Recruitment and Selection in the OHR once a final candidate has been selected.
It is the policy of TWU that all vacant staff positions be listed with and posted by the Office of Human Resources (OHR); and that these vacancies be left open for a minimum of ten (10) working days from the date the OHR posts them (note: exception under b below). Temporary jobs are not required to remain open for the ten (10) days.
Staff Vacancies will be posted on the OHR Recruitment and Selection web site.
A Job Opportunities Bulletin that is located in the Office of Human Resources (OHR) will be updated as needed. All other postings will be updated weekly.
It is the policy of Texas Woman’s University that all vacant staff positions be listed with the OHR Denton office and be advertised.
A Personnel Vacancy Form PVF must be completed for all vacant staff positions including temporary jobs. It is not required to advertise the vacancy if the department head wishes to promote or transfer a qualified employee within his/her department to the vacant position. Internal promotions or transfers must be processed through the OHR and a PVF must be submitted. The OHR will determine if the employee is qualified for the position before a commitment is made to promote or transfer the employee.
