Houston Graduate Programs

Master's Degree in Nutrition

TWU graduate students who seek an M.S. in Nutrition take NFS 5313 (Nutrition and Human Metabolism) plus other graduate courses in clinical nutrition, applied nutrition, biology or chemistry. All Master's students take 3 hrs of graduate level statistics or research design and 2 hrs of seminar. A minimum of 30 hrs of course work is required with a thesis and 36 with a professional paper. This degree prepares students for leadership positions as health practitioners or for advanced study in nutrition.
