Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences Houston Center

The purpose of the Nutrition Graduate Student Association (NGSA) are to provide opportunities for career exploration and to promote healthy eating among college students. Each month speakers from various fields of nutrition and dietetics are invited to share their professional experiences. The members participate in various activities throughout the year to promote healthy eating among their peers. All students enrolled in graduate nutrition courses are eligible to join and dues are $5 per semester. NGSA offers opportunity for leadership experience either by being an officer in the organization or a representative to the Houston Student Government Association.
