Graduate Online Program

Beginning in the fall of 2005, the Department of Health Studies launched the Online Masters Degree Program in Health Studies. All courses for the entire degree may be taken online; however, campus visits are required for course orientations at the beginning of each semester. Several committee meetings for thesis and degree plan will be held on the Denton campus throughout the degree program.

Although courses will be mostly online in the "Internet" format, students admitted to the Online Masters Degree Program in Health Studies will have the flexibility of enrolling in courses offered through a variety of formats including:  "In-House", "Short Course", "Weekend". Online students may choose to take courses on the Denton Campus. See Graduate Course Rotation for further explanation of each delivery method. Please be aware that the degree program information packet includes courses on the Denton campus.

  **Attention Students**

There is a 2-day Graduate Colloquium scheduled at the beginning of each Fall and Spring semester on the TWU Denton Campus. Online graduate students must attend two Colloquiums before graduating. The Colloquiums are scheduled on the Friday and Saturday before the first day of class. For more information, please click on Graduate Colloquium on the Graduate Programs page or contact Dr. Doug Coyle or Dr. Shalah Watkins-Bailey. Students already in the program can visit the HS Graduate Forum on Blackboard for a complete Colloquium schedule.
