Community Health Area of Study
Health Studies majors who select the Community Health Area of Study are generally interested in employment in a wide variety of community health settings including worksite wellness programs, public health departments, healthcare systems, schools, voluntary health associations and other community health agencies. Although most graduates seek employment immediately following graduation, several consider the eventual possibility of entering a health-related master's degree program. These include master's degree programs in Public Health, Health Education/Promotion, Health Care Administration, and Physical Therapy.
