**All Students Enrolled in any Health Studies ONLINE course are required to come to the Denton campus once per semester to attend the First Class Meeting at the start of each semester. **

This will be the only time during the semester that you will meet face to face with your instructor and fellow classmates. This will be an actual class, not a tutorial. However, if you are new to Blackboard and to E-learning in general, you should plan on attending the early-bird Blackboard and library tutorials that begin at 9:00 am.

If you cannot attend the First Class Meeting for your HS online course, you must contact the HS instructor in advance. The only "excused" absences are those that align with the TWU handbook, such as a major illness or death in the family.
