Susan Wittjen, Ph.D.

Dr. Susan WittjenDr. Wittjen has been an adjunct faculty member at Texas Woman's University for several years. She received her baccalaureate degree in physical therapy from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.After several years of clinical practice, she earned a Master's degree in Allied Health Education and Administration from the University of Houston and Baylor College of Medicine. After teaching Physical Therapy at U.T.M.B. for eight years, she earned her Ph.D. in Religious Studies and health care ethics from Rice University.

She currently consults with area hospitals’ ethics committees and lectures on ethics to various groups of health care providers.  She teaches Ethics.
