Goodman,

Beginning in engineering, Dr. Goodman earned two Bachelor
degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Technology at
the University of Houston. He then received
his Masters in Electrical Engineering at Southern
Methodist University. Later, he received his
Masters in Health Care Administration here at T.W.U.
then continued his education at the UT School of
Public Health for his Doctorate in Public Health.
Before
returning to T.W.U as a professor, Dr. Goodman
acquired experience as a manager and consultant for
various hospitals.
He is a
member of the American College of Healthcare
Executives and the American Public Health
Association, as well as engineering professional
organizations. He has also been honored with service
awards by the Accrediting Board for Engineering &
Technology as well as the US Board for Clinical
Engineering Certification.
At T.W.U.,
Dr. Goodman teaches Health Policy and Health
Technology Assessment. His research interests
include patient safety and health policy. |
