Admissions
Requirements for
Certificate in Health Care Management
Applicants for the certificate program
will have completed a baccalaureate
degree preferably in a field related to
the certificate program. Such related
fields include business, nursing,
physical or occupational therapy,
nutrition and food sciences, health
studies and health administration.
Related fields also include dental
hygiene, laboratory or radiological
technology, biology and chemistry.
Applications for the certificate program
are accepted
for Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.
Completed applications should be
submitted to the Office of Admissions
prior to these deadlines for graduate
admissions:
Fall:
June 30
Spring:
October 30
Summer:
March 30
The HCA
program requires that prospective
certificate students provide:
 Evidence of an
earned bachelor’s degree and
complete official transcripts of all
undergraduate and graduate study to
the Office of Student Records
Processing;
Resume to the
HCA department;
Three letters
of reference to the HCA department;
and
Interview with
HCA faculty member (in person or by
phone)
