How and when can I apply for TETN?
The application process for the TETN program is NOT the same as the application process for the on-campus learning venue. Application for the TETN program is a multi-step process, which will be outlined in detail at an information meeting. Candidates may NOT apply to the TETN program until they have attended an information meeting, which will be held at the local education service center.
Students who wish to apply for the TETN master’s program and who need prerequisite (leveling) courses must attend the January or April information meeting. Deadline for applying to take TWU leveling courses for Cycle 5 is May 1, 2008. Applicants for the leveling courses must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in their last 60 hours of college work. Admission and completion of the leveling courses does NOT guarantee admission to the TETN master’s program.
Leveling courses for Cycle 5 begin in the summer of 2008.
Applicants for the TETN Cycle 5 must attend one of the four information meetings before applying. Applications for Cycle 5 are due December 15, 2008. All candidates must attend classes on the TWU campus in Denton, Texas for one week at the beginning of the cycle. |
