* Texas Students seeking an initial teaching certificate must take these EDUC courses before their student teaching.

** For students who wish to take sign language class at TWU.

*** This sequence represents a full-time status and may be adjusted accordingly for those graduate students who are working/teaching full time.  All courses are taught within a fixed sequence; if a student chooses not to take a course listed in one semester, it should be understood that course will have to be taken the following year in the same semester.

Note:  All courses listed are available online through the distance learning program, with the exception of the sign language courses; distance learning students must secure these courses in their residential area and student teaching.
