The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at
Texas Woman's University offers two master's degree programs,
one in Speech-Language Pathology and one in Deaf Education.
The master's degree program in
Speech-Language Pathology is
accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and prepares
students to apply for Texas licensure as a Speech-Language
Pathologist and the Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology.
For those without a TWU baccalaureate degree in COMS, the master's degree in Deaf
Education is a distance program that can be completed
online, and is available to students nation wide.
Recipients of DEED money who continue onto the grad program as
DEED recipients will continue as on-campus graduate students.
Students may also pursue a dual master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology and Deaf Education. |
