Preparation for graduate work in Speech-Language Pathology and/or Deaf Education.

Graduate

Speech-Language Pathology - Description 

The TWU Speech-Language Pathology Program is a program accredited by The American Speech-Language Hearing Association's (ASHA) Council on Academic Accreditation (CCA). All coursework prepares students to meet all academic and clinical requirements of the profession.  The program is available via on campus or distance learning venues.

Deaf Education  - Description

The TWU program in Deaf Education meets all standards established by the state of Texas and the Council on Education of the Deaf.

Clinics

The TWU Speech-Language & Hearing Clinic

Over 40 years experience in providing speech, language and hearing evaluations and therapy to the Denton community.

CAFFE – Dysphagia Clinic

A Center for Assisting Families with Feeding and Eating disorders.

TWU Stroke Center – Dallas

A center for persons recovering from stroke.  Provides a continuum of treatment services which includes opportunities to participate in cutting edge research in neuropharmacologic therapy. The research and center programs are the result of a collaboration of faculty from Texas Woman’s University and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
