The TWU Speech-Language & Hearing
Clinic
The TWU Speech-Language
& Hearing Clinic has been providing speech, language and hearing
evaluations and therapy to the residents
of Denton and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. Hundreds of children and
adults have been served over the years by clinical faculty and
staff who are licensed by the State of Texas and certified by
the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
The TWU Speech-Language & Hearing Clinic is an ASHA accredited program for training graduate students
for careers in Speech-Language Pathology.
All services of the
Clinic are focused on improving communication for those with
speech or language difficulties due to hearing loss, stroke,
non-English accents, stuttering, voicing differences, etc.
Evaluations and therapy are provided for people of all ages who
need help with communication problems.
CAFFE – Dysphagia Clinic
The TWU
Dysphagia Clinic, known as The Center for Assisting Families
with Feeding and Eating disorders (CAFFE), works to identify and remediate
feeding and swallowing
disorders.
