Building Campaign, Texas Woman's University Houston Center

Chances are you or a member of your family will be cared for by a graduate of Texas Woman's University.

That's because Texas Woman's University is the leading provider of health care professionals for the citizens of Texas.

In 2006, Texas Woman's University will move to its new 10-story, 202,000 square-foot urban campus at the southern gateway to the Texas Medical Center. This state-of-the-art building will enable TWU to double enrollment and take its leadership in health care education to a new level.

Almost $36 million has been raised toward the $37 million dollar building campaign goal. Your help is needed to complete the project.

For $100 you can purchase one of 1,666 chairs needed for the building's classrooms and lecture halls. A plaque on the chair will recognize you or someone you choose to honor in this thoughtful and tangible way.

Gifts of $1,000 and above will be used for building enhancements, equipment, furnishings -- wherever they are needed most. Your generosity and support will be recognized on the Donor Wall of Excellence in the building's Main Lobby.

New ways of delivering health care to Texans demand a new kind of professional -- one who works as part of a team to evaluate and treat patients. With your support, TWU can lead the way in educating the nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, nutritionists and health care professionals who will be needed in this new environment.
