Medical Librarian

The Houston Librarian provides the services of workshops, in-classroom, and one-on-one training (visit http://www.twu.edu/library/res/instruction.htm) on library internet and in-person research and resources to all TWU Houston students, faculty and staff. In addition, the Librarian assists all Houston faculty and students to obtain their Houston Academy of Medicine-Texas Medical Center (Jones) Library (http://resource.library.tmc.edu/) card and guides faculty and graduate students to obtaining an additional card that gives them direct borrowing privileges at six area research libraries including Rice University, the University of Houston, and others. The Librarian facilitates current awareness service and direct information retrieval to faculty for teaching and research needs http://www.twu.edu/library/res/res_first.htm and teaches all Houston faculty, staff, and students to access TWU Library full text and other web resources http://www.twu.edu/library/.
