New State Mandated Immunization Requirement
Effective January 1, 2012, State of Texas law requires that all new and transfer college students must receive a vaccination or booster against bacterial meningitis. This applies to both undergraduate and graduate students. Students who were previously enrolled at TWU but not enrolled during the Fall 2011 term are also required to receive the vaccination to enroll for Spring 2012. More Info.
Admissions
Our Admission staff, Jacqueline Smith, is well versed in a number of areas to assist you with your admission concerns. Available for your perusal is an abundance of material: a variety of applications for transfers, transients, former students as well as graduate admission; undergraduate and graduate catalogues; freshman, transfer and graduate student guides.
Please be reminded that admission as a TWU student is a two-fold process. You must be accepted into TWU, and additionally, the respective academic department must open its door of acceptance to you as well.
The Admissions Office act as your resources for sharing information about TWU with prospective students. Prospective students and their families who wish to tour the campus and are invited to join us for one of our free Open Houses. Open Houses are held once in the Fall and once in the Spring semesters. Come attend one of our Open Houses and ponder the possibilities.

Bursar/Business Accountant
Desiree Hodge is the primary collector of fees including tuition at the Houston Center. Payments can be made in a variety of ways, whether in-person or online. Cash, credit cards, checks and money orders are all acceptable methods of payment. Fee payments may be accomplished in person at the Bursar / Business Accountant's Office located conveniently on the first floor (in the One Stop), suite 1300 A. Credit card payments can be made over the phone at (713) 794-2329.
For those who have lost money in vending machines, refund request are reported to and reimbursements received from the Bursar.

Financial Aid
There are several sources of financial assistance available to assist you in your quest for higher education. Some of those sources are in the form of grants, loans, work-study and scholarships. The Financial Aid Advisor, Jennifer Lewis, is eager to work with you to create a plan that will best meet your financial needs during your academic pursuits at Texas Woman's University (TWU).

Enrollment Coordinator
The Enrollment's Office, operated by Montra Washington-Barnes, is the place where you can change your address, name, telephone and emergency contact information. You may also pick up the following information in the One Stop area: class schedules; graduation information; as well as a variety of forms for such purposes as auditing courses, concurrent enrollment, registration statement, official withdrawal, add/drop courses, residency questionnaire, and transcripts.
Transcripts
Please be advised that securing a transcript requires a request submitted in writing with the student signature, TWU ID Number and/or Social Security Number, dates of attendance and mailing address. A payment of $10.00 must accompany each request for an official University transcript. Individuals can expect a 24-48 hour turnaround time in processing. On the Houston campus you have the option to fax in your request at (713) 794-2325. You can add credit card information on the request form or call in your payment through our Bursar / Cashier at (713) 794-2329.
