State-mandated immunization requirement
Effective January 1, 2012, State of Texas law requires that all new and transfer college students must receive a vaccination or booster against bacterial meningitis. This applies to both undergraduate and graduate students. Students who were previously enrolled at TWU but not enrolled during the Fall 2011 term are also required to receive the vaccination to enroll for Spring 2012.
Our Admissions Office is available to help you gain a solid understanding of what is required for admission into TWU's different programs. For all populations including freshmen, transfers, and graduates we will go through the requirements, deadlines, and additional questions that may arise throughout the admissions process.
Please be reminded that certain programs have additional admissions requirements, and you must first be admitted to the University, and also to that specific department's program.
The Admissions Office serves as a starting point for any individual who desires to further their education with TWU. Prospective students and their families who wish to tour the campus and learn more about our programs are invited to join us for one of our Open Houses. Open Houses are held twice annually, typically on a Saturday in February and October. Additional tours may be scheduled, depending on the availability of the Admissions Counselor, though it is a limited tour without the access to labs that you normally see during an Open House event.

There are several sources of financial assistance available to assist you in your quest for higher education. Some of those sources are in the form of grants, loans, work-study and scholarships. The Financial Aid Advisor, Jennifer Lewis, is eager to work with you to create a plan that will best meet your financial needs during your academic pursuits at Texas Woman's University (TWU).

The Enrollment Office, coordinated by Cheryl Holcombe, provides information and services to students, faculty and staff in the areas of registration, enrollment changes, grades, academic standing, graduation, official transcript production, residency, and veteran’s benefits. Additionally the coordinator provides assistance with the deadlines and other academic calendar items, communicates institutional policies and procedures, and provides direction and training to the campus community regarding student rights and procedures as outlined by FERPA.
Students are able to request an official transcript in person at the Registrar's Office located in the One Stop Suite 1300E for immediate pick-up.
The cost per transcript is $10.00. Payment option is: credit card only.
