All classrooms on the Houston campus have computer display systems to complement teaching by the use of audio and visual aides. Computer Classrooms have basic operating and software applications. All Computer Classroom Instructor Stations operate on Windows XP systems. Basic applications include, but are not limited to the following:

- Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Publisher, OneNote, Groove & InfoPath)
- Nero
- Quick Time Player
- Real Player
- Windows Media Player
- SPSS v.15
- Symantec AntiVirus
- Winzip or 7-Zip
- Adobe Reader 7.0
- Adobe Flash Player
- Internet Explorer 7.0
- Java
If you are in need of specialized software for your classroom instructor station, please submit a work order through the Helpdesk by phone at 81-3971 or email at helpdesk@twu.edu. Be sure to have the software serial numbers and license key ready for the installation.
