The Leadership Connection is a community that helps students develop a personal philosophy of leadership. Using the model that any person can exert leadership at any level of an organization, students will learn what it takes to become an effective leader while in college and after they graduate. The community will provide programs and experiences that will help students develop their leadership potential. Community members will reside primarily in Stark Hall and on one floor in Guinn Hall for males. “I used to think that leadership was standing in front of a group and giving orders - but now I know that leadership is really about team work and developing effective relationships with others. “

Unique Community Features:

• Frequent interaction with faculty and university leaders
• Study Groups
• Community Service opportunities
• Assistance in developing a leadership portfolio
• Opportunities to participate in leadership seminars
