Welcome to the Honors Scholar Program
The Honors Scholar Program at Texas Woman's University is one of the ten most selective in the state of Texas with limited enrollment for freshman and transfer student. It is open to any student from any major, and it stresses, not more course work, but more interesting course work.
This year students will combine academic courses with travel to Spain, attendance at musical, plays, and museum exhibits, and travel to Denver for the national honors conference.
Students have won fellowships from Phi Kappa Phi and have been selected for prestigious local, state-wide and national internships, including NASA, the Texas Senate, the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and many more.
