Paul Dunbar, an instructor of African American history in TWU’s Department of History and Government, explored President Barack Obama’s election in the context of African American history. Following the talk, a panel of graduate students discussed their impressions of the election’s historical and personal significance. Graduate students and instructors participating on the panel included Kami Fletcher, Brittney Martin, Ivan Arteaga, and Leslie Lindsey.
