Due to an electrical fire in the MCL building building is closed, the TRC and the Megalab are also closed until further notice. If you need to access a general computing lab, please go to ASB 107 or the Blagg-Huey Library 115.

The Information Technology Help Desk at Texas Woman's University provides user support services for telephone, voicemail, and computer hardware and software applications. Please call the I.T. Register Early!
Be first to get the classes you need for the spring semester. Registration will be open from November 2nd through December 21st at 10:00am. Follow these dates for your scheduled time and don’t delay.
Graduate Students Nov. 2
Seniors and Post Baccalaureates Nov. 10
Juniors Nov. 16
Sophomores Nov. 19
Freshmen Nov. 23
Beginning December 21st at 10:00am the registration system and the Datatel Student System will be closed for a critical software upgrade and will reopen on or after January 4th. Registration activity will resume when the systems come back online.
Fall 2009 Grades
Undergraduates may check their grades while the Datatel Student System is unavailable by going to the Degree Audit System (DARS). Graduate Students and any undergraduate students whose grades are not available in DARS, can check their grades after January 4th by logging into your TWU Portal account.
Other TWU systems are scheduled to remain operational during the December holiday break period. This includes Blackboard, email, and the TWU web pages.
Mission Statement
As a centralized point of contact for computer based assistance, the I.T. Help Desk:
- Provides prompt and courteous service.
- Informs the user of technology resources and tools for customer support.
- Acts as a liaison between other Technology and Information Services entities for problem resolution.
Helpful Hints
- Please be aware that e-mails to the I.T. Help Desk have a response time of 1 to 2 days.
- For security reasons, password reset requests require a phone call to the I.T.Help Desk during business hours.
- We do not reset passwords over e-mail or chat.
- We strongly advise against including your social security number or your password in messages.
- Please include your TWU username and/or your TWU ID number in the e-mail.
- If this is a Blackboard issue, please give us the course information, i.e. 07fabus5331.60.
- If you are sending mail during “off” hours, please give us a preferred way of contacting you.
