Beginning in the Fall of 2005, the Department of Health Studies launched the Online Master's Degree Program in Health Studies. All courses and course orientations for the entire degree may be taken online; however, a campus visit for the HS Graduate Research Colloquium is required during the first year in the program. Several committee meetings for thesis and degree plan will be held on the Denton campus throughout the degree program.

Although courses will be mostly online in the "Internet" format, students admitted to the Online Master's Degree Program in Health Studies will have the flexibility of enrolling in courses offered through a variety of formats, including "Hybrid" and "Summer Hybrid Courses" which may be taken on the Denton Campus. See Graduate Course Rotation for further explanation of each delivery method. Please be aware that the degree program information packet includes courses on the Denton campus.
