Pre-OT
Health Studies majors who are interested in working toward a Master's in Occupational Therapy, can complete this degree on the TWU Denton Campus in a shortened time frame. Students who maintain the application requirements are eligible to apply in their junior year of study. Admittance is not guaranteed. Pre-OT students who have been admitted into the Master's program will begin OT courses at the beginning of their senior year.

Graduate Prep
Prepares students who are interested in working toward a Master's or Doctorate in:
- Physical Therapy
- Public Health
- Library Studies
- Social Work
Those admitted will complete the B.S. in Health Studies degree while taking preparation courses for the Master’s program. Master’s prep tracks may be customized according to the required prerequisites of the advanced degree.

All-Level Health Education Teaching Certification
Prepares students to teach Health Education at the elementary or secondary school level. Students who plan to earn a teaching certificate must apply for admission through the Teacher Education program.

Course Prerequisites and Sequences
Students must earn a minimum grade of "C" in each course's prerequisites before enrolling in that course. Prerequisites and course rotation are listed below:
Health Studies elective courses may be completed at any time during the program and in any sequence.
Admission Requirements
- Successful completion of an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in an applied health field
- Official acceptance into TWU
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 to be accepted into and to remain in the program
- Unofficial copy of Associate of Applied Science degree
