To improve the health of communities by conducting research, teaching evidence-based practice, educating future health education/health promotion professionals, and developing leaders and scholars who translate research into practice. Through responsive, collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, students, alumni, schools, and populations, the department's purpose is to graduate professionals of high esteem who impact behavioral and social determinates of societal health.

Welcome our New HS Graduate Academic Advisor!

The Health Studies Department has an addition to the Graduate Staff. Ms. Morgan O'Donnell is the new Graduate Academic Advisor.  If you are just getting started in the graduate program or need additional assistance with what courses to take the next semester, course codes, and other milestones along your journey, then Ms. O'Donnell can assist you.  Ms. O'Donnell's office location is CFO 1111 with office hours from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM, Mon - Fri.   She can be reached at 940-898-2864 or via email modonnell@twu.edu

HS Undergraduate Advising Info

All ONLINE undergraduate students who are scheduled to graduate within the year must be advised immediately. Please contact C. David Infante, Undergraduate Online Academic Advisor at dinfante@twu.edu or call 940-898-2834 to schedule an inhouse appointment.
