Dr. Salyer holds a masters’ degree in Nursing Administration and a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing. She has 34 years of hospital experience, with 28 of those years working in Information Technology design, implementation, education, and regulatory/legal compliance. She has been Board Certified in Nursing Informatics since 1997. Dr. Salyer has taught Health Informatics at The University of Texas and has more than ten years experience teaching Information Systems at Texas Woman’s University.
