Dr. "Welcome to the Health Care Administration Program – Houston Center."

We are excited that you are considering a career in health care administration and decided to visit our web page.  This field is not only rewarding but also challenging as the health care industry is rapidly changing.  Our program is dedicated to preparing students as they engage in a wide range of health care issues and become leaders in the field.

The program was established in 1973 and is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). Our present curriculum covers a broad range of subjects spanning from business concepts to specific health services applications.  The program faculty continues to revise and modify the curriculum to meet the needs of the changing healthcare environment.

In addition to the great selection of courses, the Health Care Administration Program is making excellent progress in the areas of research and grants, service to the community and education for health care administrators.

Again, thank you for visiting and if you have any questions about the program, please feel free to call our office.
