Joining a sorority is a personal decision. Prospective members are encouraged to meet members from all of the various chapters before making a decision to join a particular chapter. Each chapter offers a unique experience. That experience is often shaped by the organizational values and the values of its members.
When considering an organization, it is important to meet as many of the members as possible. Remember though, while you are looking for an organization that will fulfill your needs, the organization is also looking for members who will fit in with their values. The recruitment process is a mutual selection process. Be sure that you are comfortable with the organization before you decide to join.
