The Health Care Administration Program was developed to meet the critical need for highly skilled health administrators. It offers graduate students an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the organizational and administrative problems associated with health care delivery. Its innovative curriculum is designed to prepare individuals for professional careers in the health care milieu. Graduates can anticipate challenging positions involving management, analysis, planning, quality improvement, and evaluation in hospitals; health maintenance organizations; long-term care facilities; medical group practices; community health centers; university health service centers; and federal, state, local, and voluntary health agencies and organizations. The Master of Health Care Administration degree program can be completed on either a part-time or full-time basis, enabling employed individuals to maintain their positions. The Program is accredited by the Accrediting Commission on Education in Health Services Administration.
