Beginning in 1997, students interested in taking the CPA exam must have 150 semester hours of course work. The Department of Business and Economics participates in the Cooperative Education program at the Texas Woman's University. Providing competency in a concentrated field, the primary objective of the Department of Business and Economics is augmented by a program of studies in general education.
